More and more of us are interested in starting a business from home. Why? Because big business has shown us that they don't care about us. We hear that the worst is over and then a friend calls that they have just been laid-off. The worst may be over for them, not for us.
Don't get me wrong I love business. However, I love home based businesses not BIG bureaucratic businesses. The education system in the United States has produced a whole new breed of Business School trained executives, whose loyalty is to finance and the manipulation of investments; who feel no obligation to be familiar with a company's employees, product, manufacturing process or customers.
Many people in BIG business consider starting a business from home “silly.” That is until they realize that they are never home sharing those special moments with the family they love, in the house they chose for the neighborhood that would allow them to live the lifestyle they wanted with their family.
So how do you start your home business? It's simple! Walk to the closest mirror, look into and say:
“As of this moment forward I am an independent work from home business owner.
My business is helping others find financial security and freedom.
I am starting part-time while I continue with my current position.”
Congratulations, you have taken the hardest step in starting a business from home.
Note that I am suggesting that your business “is helping others find financial security and freedom.” I'm not suggesting that you start a business that requires a substantial investment like purchasing a franchise or producing products.– I'm suggestion your home business be a person to person networking business.

I believe that this is the type of business that provides you with the greatest probability for success with the least amount of risk. What do I mean by “success?” If you gauge success in monetary terms, as an example, one of our associates earns over 0,000 a month. However, if you view success in more personal terms, another of our associates makes 0 a month which pays for the products they joined the business to purchase at wholesale. With your home based business you set the limit.
It has been my experience that most people who start a networking home based business do so because of a product experience or personal relationship. Money is normally not the deciding factor. Why? Because people new to networking have no idea how the networking company's compensation plan works. That's the truth!
Most people will say they want to make a lot of money. For many people making an extra 0 to 0 a month represents a lot of money. To others making an extra ,000 to ,000 a month, working part-time, represents a lot of money. Most people can't relate to making ,000 to ,000 a month which, if you relate it to the average monthly income of a wage earner in the USA, is a lot of money.
My point is that starting a business from home can produce whatever you want or need as it relates to money. More importantly, working from home allows you to have a life, family experience, feeling of community with all the freedom, joy and growth that you are here to enjoy. That is why I like home based businesses, particularly, networking businesses.
By the way a networking home based business can also be a lot of fun? That's right, FUN! Ever thought that it would be fun to be in business with your friends and people you enjoyed rather than strangers that you are thrown together with because of a paycheck? When you leverage your income with the income of your friends, family and associates, it's fun. That's what a networking home based business is all about.
Sometimes people take a short term view of their home based business. At times, on the Internet and in network marketing, I see people who view selling as taking advantage of others for a short term gain. Don't do that! Don't prey on each other, help each other. Find yourself a good company and build your business with it. Help others while you help yourself.
